Club By-Laws Tri Nu Tampa, Inc.
Name
The name is the club shall be the Tri Nu Tampa, Inc.
 

Article II

MissionThe TriNu Tampa Triathlon Club is a non-profit membership cub registered with USA Triathlon. The club encourages members of all skill levels to train and race together and share their love of the sport.
 

Article III

Section 1. Classification

Members of the Tri Nu Tampa, Inc. shall be active or inactive.

Section 2. Eligibility

To be eligible to maintain membership in the Tri Nu Tampa, Inc. a person must pay yearly dues, to be renewed on an annual basis on the anniversary date of membership. Members need to be a USA Triathlon member in good standing. Prospective members must also sign the waiver provided on the website TriNuTampa.com. The member must show good sportsmanship to other athletes, volunteers and race directors.

Section 3. Dues

The dues for active membership shall be determined by the Board of Directors and noticed to members for payment on annual bases. Dues are non-refundable.

Article IV

Board of Directors Section 1. Composition

The Tri Nu Tampa, Inc. Board of Directions shall consist of at least three members and no more than five members.

Section 2. Eligibility

All members of the Tri Nu Tampa, Inc. Board of Directors need be active members in good standing.

Section 3. Duties
The duties of the officers shall be as follows and may be revised by the board of directors. Section 3.1.0 President

The President shall be the major spokesperson for the club and be the direct liaison with the USA Triathlon. He or she shall chair all board meetings or as needed to address urgent club matters.

Section 3.2.0 Vice President

The Vice president shall fill the role as president in his or her absence. He or she shall maintain all social media accounts.

Section 3.3.0 Secretary

The Secretary shall be the official correspondent for Tri Nu Tampa, Inc. The Secretary shall publish all board meeting minutes and keep all official records and bylaws. He or she shall maintain the Tri Nu Tampa, Inc. website and calendar.

Section 3.4.0 Treasurer

The Treasurer shall be the club’s chief financial officer. He or she shall be responsible for all accounts payable and receivable and present a financial report to the board at each meeting.

Section 4. Terms

The TriNu Tampa Triathlon Club Board of Directors shall serve one-year term with no limit to the number of terms of office

Article V

Effective Date
The effective date of these by-laws is January 1, 2021 and will take precedence over any and all by-laws previously adopted by Tri Nu Tampa, Inc.
